The Adult Literacy and English Language Instructional Services program will teach you to help someone learn to read, write, or improve their comprehension or English language skills. Tutors work one-on-one with an adult learner wishing to improve his or her basic skills 2-4 hours weekly for a minimum of six months. Training is required. Volunteer tutors must be at least 18 years of age and complete the required training which takes place at Penrose Library, 20 N. Cascade Ave. This opportunity is sponsored by: Pikes Peak Library District
