Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers will assist at each branch library to convert all library materials - about 1 million items - from bar codes to RFID tags. Volunteers and staff will work together at mobile carts to remove a book, scan the book with hand-held scanner, affix an RFID tag inside and reshelve the item in the correct order.Each library will close for about 1 week.

• Sand Creek Branch - April 26-May 2
• East Library - May 3-18
• Palmer Lake Library - May 16-17
• Penrose Library - May 18-27
• Mobile Library Bookmobiles - May 25-27

Age requirement: Adults 18 and over and teens 13-17 with adult.
