Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on February 8, 2010 |
Historic Glen Eyrie, original home of General William Palmer, offers daily public tours of the property throughout the year. Tours last for an hour and a half and may be followed by a tea in the castle. In addition to the public tours, Glen Eyrie offers educational tours for students, particularly elementary age, and private tours for groups or conferences staying on property. If you have an interest in history or the Navigators or just enjoy interacting with people, consider becoming a tour guide at the Glen Eyrie Castle. New tour guides are given a script and asked to shadow at least three tours before leading their own. Tour guides must agree to our statement of faith which is posted on our website and should enjoy sharing history with others. This opportunity is sponsored by: Glen Eyrie
